I thought that I would try to actually use this as a an actual journal, actually.

I have a lot of things going on and it may me good for me to try to get my daily thoughts down.

I “soft launched” my patreon page. so soft in fact that no one knows it’s live other than me.

I have been submitting stories and poetry to magazines. I have never done anything like this before. Just blindly submitting stuff. Everything I have ever written, I either did for myself or was hired to do. This is a whole new world for me.

I even wrote a 50 word piece of flash fiction for submitting to a magazine. I’ll let us know how that goes.

I miss the typewriter app I had on my mac. It made noises like a typewriter. Maybe I’ll get that again.

I put two chapbooks up on my easy shop. Gonorrhea and Free Kindle Books.

All My Friends are Dead, the poetry chapbook that I put together recently, i’m keeping as a patreon exclusive.

I need to make some doctor appointments for everyone in the family.

I need to call my lawyer.

I need to pay some bills.

I need to take Zoe to work.

I need to get some shopping done.

There were other things too. I can’t remember them.

That’s why this is a good thing for me.

I need to finish up a short story for a horror anthology. It’s Halloween themed.

I have some other poems to send out.

I also wrote some poems in the car the other day. When i do that, I record them on my phones voice memo app. Then I come home and transpose. But, I haven’t done that in a while so the memos are piling up.

I should do some editing and formatting.

will I?

It’s march mystery madness on booktube, and even though I still have about ten books to read for that, I keep finding myself reading some of the books that i got for my bday.

Right now, I am reading Burning in Water Drowning in Flame by Bukowski. It’s okay so far. Better than The Days Run Away Like Wild Horses Over the Hills but not as good as Love is a Dog from Hell. We will see.

I finished Hunger by Knut Hamsun for the second time yesterday.

I am re reading Notes from Underground.

I started Nausea by Sartre. I don’t like the paper.

I am still slowly going through the New Annotated Frankenstein. I am absolutely loving it. on that note, I finally grabbed the 1818 text and then realized that the annotated book is the 1818 text. I’m an idiot.

Spring is finally here they say.

I don’t really buy it.

But, it didn’t snow yesterday.

a moth was on the door

and a spider on the ceiling

it could very well be spring

i need a cup of coffee

so I wil keep this short(er)

Glad you’re playing the submissions game with me! It’s definitely old-fashioned but I picture us to be a couple of old-fashioned guys with our J&B and bathrobes with nothing on underneath.

Like that you’re putting out your shorts in physical form. I enjoyed reading them on Kindle last year, might have to pick up some hard copies!

I also agree with you about Spring.

    And needing coffee.
